First Domestic is Dominica's first and only General Insurance Company. We are currently the largest general insurance company in Dominica, we have held this position from 1997 to date. We pride ourselves by providing excellent customer service, by listening to the needs of the customers and are able to quickly provide what is needed, we are local so claims are settled faster, in addition you are able to meet with the managers and discuss any problems that you may have.

Company Background
First Domestic Insurance started on 3rd October, 1993. The company was formed by Curtis Tonge with the assistance of Rajendra Patri. The company was formed so that the people of Dominica would have there very own indigenous insurance company, as around that time many international companies were pulling out of the Caribbean. The company had a sizable portfolio under the name Insurance Consultants which was transferred to First Domestic.
